Ingredients
- 40g porridge oats
- 150ml milk of choice
- 15g raisins
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 20g blueberries
- 1/2 banana
- 30g protein (optional)
- Yoghurt/Skyr
- Cinnamon
Method
- Add the oats, raisins, sprinkle of cinnamon, and milk to a frying pan with a small pinch of salt and gently warm through on low heat.
- Low and slow is the process here so that the oats cook and absorb all the liquid.
- If using, mix the protein powder with a tbsp of water to make a paste, then add to the pan.
- Mix the yoghurt with the maple syrup.
- When the porridge is ready, top with the yoghurt, blueberries, sliced banana, and another sprinkle of cinnamon.
- Add some seeds for a crunch.
