apple crumble porridge

Ingredients

  • 35g porridge oats
  • 150ml milk of choice
  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 50g protein yoghurt/Skyr
  • 10g granola
  • Cinnamon

Method

  1. Grate half the apple and set to one side.
  2. Add the oats, grated apple, sprinkle of cinnamon, milk, and 100ml water to a frying pan with a pinch of salt and gently warm through on low heat.
  3. Mix the yoghurt with half a tsp of honey and set aside.
  4. Chop the remaining apple into chunks and pop into a mug with the remaining half tsp of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon, and microwave for 1.5-2 minutes.
  5. Put the cooked porridge into a bowl, top with the yoghurt, apple chunks, and finish with the sprinkle of granola for crunch.
